HRH Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall cut the ribbon on new sustainability advice centre’Start Living’ is Bristol’s new green advice centre, dedicated to encouraging everyone in the UK to lead more sustainable lives and use natural resources more efficiently. It was officially opened by Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall on 7th September 2010 as part of the Princes national tour to experience some of the most inspiring programmes demonstrating best practice in natural resource management throughout the UK. The centre is a project of Business in the Community (BITC), and is supported by Cabot Circus. It is located on Glass Walk, level 3 of the Cabot Circus shopping centre, also has excellent facilities which can be hired for exhibitions, workshops and video conferencing. The Home and Garden zone demonstrates energy saving ideas and shares advice on growing your own food and where to buy locally produced food.
